We first met Jim a few weeks ago when he came to MALKA Diamonds to find Sarah's engagement ring. He decided to propose with a diamond in a simple solitaire and let Sarah help choose the engagement ring. This newer trend of wedding proposals has become very popular. Over 30% of guys are buying the diamond and placing it in a temporary four-prong ring to later exchange for the ring of her choice. MALKA Diamonds has created many custom rings Jim proposed this last Sunday afternoon while the two were hiking. They came in today and shared the sweet proposal story and looked at engagement ring settings. Sarah had some great ideas and sketches of rings that she liked. update on the ring & couple... Jim & Sarah were married on July 7th, 2012. We created a stunning three-stone ring and matching wedding band for Sarah and ordered a Cobalt gents band for Jim. The 1.0 carat round brilliant center stone is complemented by two tapered baguettes. The piece is unique and set low for everyday wear. Best wishes! - the Malkas
