Congratulations Trisha + Nick!

Congratulations Trisha + Nick!

There is something special about our COVID-19 pandemic engagements. It’s absolutely beautiful to witness those in love choosing to get engaged during these uncertain times.
We are honored to be a witness to the unconditional love in the air! Nick came to us a few weeks back. He had an idea of what he wanted but let us add some creativity to the project as well. The two visited this week to size Trisha’s sapphire custom ring. It was a treat to see them together. They were both glowing. Below find Trisha + Nick’s story. Thank you for sharing!

“We met all the way back in 2012, as freshmen working on a one act show in the theatre department of Lewis & Clark College. What was supposed to be a lighthearted college fling quickly turned into a partnership that is rapidly approaching 8 years. We both graduated with a major in biology and a minor in theatre in 2016; we have since continued to enjoy helping one another build careers and foster interests that combine our mutual love of art and science.”

“We had been talking about getting married for over a year and I was starting to impatiently wonder if he'd ever propose, while simultaneously (and somewhat paradoxically) hoping he'd surprise me. In the midst of this pandemic, Nick was not only able to work with Ronnie and David to create a custom sapphire ring, which I completely adore, but was able to catch me completely off guard. On an afternoon walk through Sellwood Park, overlooking downtown and Mt. Saint Helen's, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. A man who was driving by stopped his car, honked and cheered, I got flustered and forgot to say yes, then when I went to put on the ring I dropped it! Of course, after many kisses, I said "yes, of course! I thought you'd never ask" and spent the next week unable to keep my eyes off of this gorgeous ring. Nick couldn't wait to tell me all about how incredible the process of working with Ronnie and David was.”
