Black & White Jewelry Trend from the JCK Las Vegas Jewelry Show

MALKA Diamonds & Jewelry was in Las Vegas last week for the JCK show. We were not alone. All of the major players in the world of jewelry were there from June 4 – 7 for North America’s largest annual jewelry show, JCK Las Vegas. Needless to say we had plenty to see including the latest in fine and fashion jewelry as well as technology.

Black and white diamond jewelry was of the many big trends amongst the jewelers at the JCK Las Vegas Jewelry Show.

So what were people talking about? The price of gold, of course, is on everyone’s minds. As it continues to skyrocket, and the economy continues to weigh on the minds of many customers, the world’s jewelers have been busy finding creative ways to bring the public gorgeous new products that are available in every buyer’s price range. In many instances that means supplementing gold with other stunning metals. Everything from white tungsten, to steel to perennial favorite silver is being incorporated into the new designs.

That increasing use of white metals may explain the growing prevalence in black and white color schemes on everything from bracelets to necklaces to rings. And thanks to “Sex and the City 2,” black diamonds are making a huge comeback. Combining those two hot trends, we brought back several gorgeous black and white diamonds combined in gorgeous pieces.
